On Monday, August 8, 2016 at approximately 10:30 pm a multivehicle collision occurred on the interstate 5 freeway, killing one motorist. The crash was reported on the Northbound 5 freeway, south of Jamboree Road. Officers reporting to the scene of the collision found cars on fire with at least one person trapped inside.  Other victims were also transported to a local hospital. Police are still investigating but the California Highway Patrol has reported that one car involved, a 1994 Dodge van, was driving at unsafe speeds. Our thoughts and condolences are with the families and friends of the victims and injured.

Any incident resulting in fatalities is a difficult time for families and friends of victims.  Often times, there is little, if any, information regarding the the facts and circumstances of a catastrophic event.  It becomes frustrating for family and friends who need information.  When tragedy strikes, a compassionate and experienced attorney can help families navigate through times that are emotionally and physically trying.

Multi-vehicle collisions present distinct complexities for attorneys retained to handle these types of cases. Often times, facts surrounding a collision are unclear and the attorneys representing injured parties are charged with the task of recreating every second of the crash under a myriad of factors to fully understand what happened. At Kalfayan Merjanian, LLP we have the resources to fully investigate multi-vehicle collisions and the experience to handle complex cases. The attorneys and staff at Kalfayan Merjanian excel at devising an effective approach to difficult cases and provide our clients with the best possible recovery.
